According to experts, the "war party", which exists in the West, is trying by its actions to reverse the unfavorable situation for itself and disrupt the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
The air defense forces destroyed almost 300 UAVs
From 21:00 on May 27 to 07:00 on May 28, 296 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems. They were shot down over the territories of the Moscow region, Bryansk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
In particular, UAVs attacked Zelenograd. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel that, according to preliminary data, there were no serious injuries. According to him, since the beginning of the day, attacks by 33 drones flying to the capital have been repelled.

In the Moscow region, the air defense forces worked on targets in 12 municipalities overnight, shooting down 42 drones, Andrei Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow region, wrote on his Telegram channel.
In Chekhov, three residential buildings were damaged in the village of Troitskoye — along Novaya Street and in the Michurinets SNT. No one was injured, and residents of the damaged houses will receive all necessary assistance and support, the head of the region promised.
During the raid, Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky airports had time restrictions on the reception and departure of aircraft.
Over the past day, the Russian Armed Forces have launched a number of missile, aviation, and artillery strikes. During them, enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine producing attack drones, parking lots for combat and unmanned boats, field launch sites for UAVs, ammunition depots, as well as points of deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 144 districts were hit, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
Russia, unlike the Kiev regime, does not strike at peaceful targets, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
— The special military operation continues. But here it is important to remember one indisputable fact: Ukrainians are still hitting our residential buildings and social facilities. We're hitting the ammunition, the places where the murder weapons are collected, and so on," he said.
Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador-at-Large for crimes committed by the Kiev regime, said on May 27 that nine civilians had been killed and 117 injured in Russia during the week.

Of course, Russia's position is increasingly being taken into account in the United States, but in this case there is "clear manipulation," Rodion Miroshnik is sure.
"The data that is presented to the Americans and sometimes relayed by the Americans does not always correspond to reality," the diplomat told Izvestia.
In the United States, conditional "parties" of peace and war are fighting, Roman Shkurlatov, chairman of the board of the all-Russian organization Officers of Russia, explained in an interview with Izvestia.
"I think US President Donald Trump sincerely wants peace," the expert noted. "He wants to trade with us, not fight. But the undercover struggle results in statements by officials that contradict each other. The Western "war party" certainly exists in the person of the governments of France, Germany, Great Britain, Poland and similar states. In addition, there are shadowy influential circles in the United States and other countries that want the Ukrainian crisis to continue. At this stage, they are trying to reverse the course of events that they strongly dislike, to completely make Trump disappointed in the prospects of a peace treaty. It is possible that he is being misinformed.
One should not discount the fact that the necessary information background is formed in this way. Europe and Ukraine, according to Rodion Miroshnik, are strenuously trying to manipulate information in an effort to achieve the main thing — the disruption of peace talks.
"They don't need them the most," the diplomat noted. — They are terribly afraid of this and are trying in every possible way to anger the Americans by spreading such information. In addition, they may try to bring their representative into the format of peace negotiations with the sole purpose of disrupting it.
Zelensky asks for money for drones
According to Bloomberg, on May 28, Zelensky said that by the end of the year Kiev needs to receive $30 billion (2.3 trillion rubles) to develop its own weapons production. According to him, Ukraine needs to produce 300-500 drones on Russian territory every day, not 100, and the stock of UAVs should reach 1,000 units.
In fact, Zelensky needs money for himself and for financing his regime, and for this he is ready to do anything, Roman Shkurlatov believes.
— It is important to get money, but there will be reasons: he asks for weapons, for salaries, for pensions, — the expert reminded. — Now they see that we are increasing the production potential of attack UAVs, and they are trying to play on this. The very idea of such investments in Ukraine looks absurd. The entire territory of the country is being shot through by our long-range weapons, and any large plant will be destroyed immediately.
At the end of May, the Kiev regime significantly increased the number of attacks using UAVs and Western-made MLRS rockets against civilian targets in the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the Ministry of Defense, from the evening of May 20 to the morning of May 27, the air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 2,331 attack drones, including 1,465 outside the area of the special military operation. As a result of attacks by Ukrainian drones, civilians, including women and children, were injured.
