The Singapore ship caught fire off the coast of the Indian state of Kerala after an explosion. This was reported on June 9 by the local Newsbytes portal.

"The fire broke out on Monday morning after an explosion aboard a Singapore—flagged cargo ship off the coast of Kerala," the article says.

It is specified that as a result of this incident, four crew members were missing. Currently, the Indian Navy will introduce a rescue operation.

However, according to Newsbytes, no trace of the missing has yet been found.

On June 4, it became known that a fire broke out on the Morning Midas cargo ship in the North Pacific Ocean. It was noted that at that time there were three vessels at the scene of the emergency to provide assistance, as well as helicopters and a coast guard boat.
