The father of American entrepreneur Elon Musk, Errol Musk, said on June 8 that his son suffers from "post-traumatic stress disorder in the White House" and believes that he "made a mistake" helping US President Donald Trump in the election.

"Five months of continuous stress, continuous, continuous stress, stress, stress. And then, in the end, it was just him and Trump," the Daily Mail quoted Errol Musk as saying.

According to the entrepreneur's father, Trump and Musk still don't know what to do, "so they're fighting with each other until they can get back to normal."

On June 3, Musk criticized the draft budget proposed by the Trump administration, calling it a disgusting abomination. On June 5, Musk publicly supported the idea of impeaching the current president. Trump, in turn, wrote that terminating contracts with Musk is the easiest way to save money in the state budget. At the same time, Tesla shares fell sharply. Later, Trump said that he did not want to communicate with Musk, as he had "lost his mind."

On June 7, Musk's father told Izvestia that the American leader would be the winner in the conflict between Trump and the entrepreneur. He noted that both Trump and Musk firmly adhere to their principles and this is absolutely normal.
