Muscovites urged to be attentive amid severe weather deterioration

Residents and guests of Moscow were urged to be attentive during the severe deterioration of the weather on Sunday, June 8. This was reported in the Complex of urban economy of the capital.

The Telegram channel of the department noted that according to the updated forecast, heavy rain, thunderstorms and hail are expected in the capital in the coming hours and until the end of the day. According to weather forecasters, it is also possible to increase the wind — its gusts can reach 20-25 m per second.

Residents of Moscow also post footage of bad weather on social media.

In addition, the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the capital noted that there is a possibility of the formation of tornadoes. Due to the bad weather, the agency advised parking cars in safe places, avoiding billboards and rickety structures on the street, and not leaving children unattended.
