The days of the Group of Seven (G7) are numbered due to the fact that the countries of the association are losing their influence. This was reported by Bloomberg on June 6.

"The days of the G7 are numbered. The share of [countries] in the world that she represents is decreasing — now she represents less than 30% of global GDP and 10% of the population, while her influence is also decreasing," the publication notes.

The agency stressed that Russia's exclusion from the G8 format put an end to the political ambitions of the association, and the skeptical attitude of US President Donald Trump undermines his economic goals.
