The Polish side has stopped accepting buses at the Terespol checkpoint from Belarus. This was reported on June 5 by the BelTA news agency with reference to the Belarusian State Border Committee.

"According to available information, from 10:00 a.m. the [Polish] control services of the Terespol border crossing suspended the launch of buses on their territory. Also, since the evening of June 4, there have been interruptions in the reception of passenger cars," the newspaper quotes the Belarusian border guards.

It is reported that a total of 1,555 passenger cars and 55 buses are in line to leave Belarus for Poland.

This border crossing remained the only one open for cars and buses between the two countries, adds "Газета.Ru ".

On May 22, the Polish Interior Ministry announced plans to erect an electronic barrier on the border with Belarus. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of the country Tomasz Semoniak, work is underway to erect an electronic barrier on the Bug River along the Polish-Belarusian border.
