Two consecutive earthquakes of magnitude 4.6 and 4.1 occurred in Kyrgyzstan with an interval of six minutes. As follows on June 5 from the data on the map of the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, seismic events were recorded in the Naryn region of the country.

Aftershocks with a magnitude of 4.6 were recorded at 16:18 local time (13:18 Moscow time), the second with a magnitude of 4.1 at 16:24 (13:24 Moscow time).

Their epicenter was located 12 km south-east of the village of Kara-Bulak. The earthquake was centered at a depth of 17-20 km. According to the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic, there was no information about casualties or damage.

On May 5, an earthquake of magnitude 3.9 was reported in the waters of the Kamchatka Strait. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region, citing data from the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, noted that the epicenter of the seismic event was located 86 km southeast of the village of Krutoberegova. The source was located at a depth of 61 km.
