Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with his American counterpart Donald Trump, informed him about Moscow's response to the Ukrainian attacks on Russian airfields. This was announced on June 5 at a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Yes, indeed," Peskov said, answering a question about whether Putin really told his American counterpart that Russia would respond to Ukraine's attacks on Russian airfields using UAVs.

At the same time, speaking about the international assessment of these acts, the presidential spokesman noted that Moscow would prefer to hear at least a harsh condemnation of the actions of the Kiev regime.

The telephone conversation between Putin and Trump took place on June 4. According to the American leader, during the talks, which lasted more than an hour, the presidents discussed the possibilities of resolving the conflict in Ukraine and the situation with Iran's nuclear program.

As Peskov noted, the leaders' conversation was constructive and allowed them to discuss a lot of important issues. As for the length of the conversation between the leaders of Russia and the United States, Peskov stressed that it makes no sense to focus on the time of the conversation.
