Bloomberg reported on the US request to Serbia to accept the deported persons.

The administration of US President Donald Trump is pushing Serbia to accept migrants deported from the United States. This was reported on June 5 by Bloomberg.
"The requests to the countries of the region continue and are part of a broader strategy to find foreign governments willing to accept migrants sent from the United States, including those who initially entered under the protection of the era of [former American President Joe] Biden," the material clarifies.
It is specified that the regional bureau of the US Department of State was instructed to present this idea. It is unclear whether any agreements have been reached following the negotiations.
The White House did not comment on this information.
At the end of May, it was reported that the US Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to revoke the entry and stay permits of 532,000 migrants, which helps speed up the deportation process.
After Trump became president on January 20, he repeatedly talked about tightening immigration policy. The head of the United States intends to ensure the largest operation in American history to deport illegal migrants.
