Electricity supply in the Kherson region is planned to be restored by the evening of June 5.

In the settlements of the Kherson region, electricity supply is planned to be restored by 18:00 Moscow time. This was announced on June 5 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"According to the plan, the power supply will return at 18:00," follows from the message in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that 37 specialists and 12 pieces of equipment are involved in the elimination of the consequences of the shelling.

On the same day, the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo, announced the shelling of the Kherson region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). As a result, more than 120,000 people living in 192 settlements in seven municipal districts (MO) were left without electricity and water.

Later, the head of the region wrote in his Telegram channel that in the Kherson region, specialists connected water pumping stations to emergency power sources. Also, the supply of drinking and industrial water was organized for residents.
