In 2025, 50% of the interest of Russians in the secondary car market in the segment of 3-5 million rubles is immediately accounted for by cars of Japanese and German brands — Toyota, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. The most sought-after model turned out to be the Toyota Camry, Avito Auto experts told Izvestia on June 5.

From January to May, buyers paid the most attention to Toyota cars: it accounted for 20.7% of the interest. The top five also included Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus and Hyundai.

The most sought-after model was the Toyota Camry, which received 7.5% of the interest. The top 5 also includes Toyota Land Cruiser, BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-class and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. In sixth place was the only Chinese model in the top ten, the Geely Monjaro.

In terms of the number of ads, the top five places were shared by almost the same brands: Toyota, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Kia and Hyundai. Russians most often sold Toyota Camry (5.6% of all ads), BMW 5-series and three more Toyota models — Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado and RAV4.
