In the Zaporizhia region, as a result of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) temporarily de-energized Primorsk, Energodar, Akimovka and part of Melitopol in the populated areas of the region. This was announced on June 4 by the Governor of the Zaporizhia region Evgeny Balitsky.

According to him, at least five explosions were recorded over the city of Melitopol. In addition, Ukrainian militants attempted to attack an electrical substation.

"Parts of Melitopol, Primorsk, Energodar, Akimovka are temporarily without power supply. Emergency crews will begin restoration work after the situation stabilizes," the governor said in a Telegram message.

Balytsky reported earlier in the day that as a result of drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the power transmission network in the Zaporizhia region was damaged. At the same time, the regional administration reported that there was no electricity supply in the region. The authorities called on local residents to cooperate and be vigilant on the roads.
