- The State Department announced the intention of the United States to continue the campaign of pressure on Iran.

The administration of US President Donald Trump intends to continue exerting maximum pressure on Iran amid reports of an alleged "secret" interstate deal. This was announced on June 3 by the official representative of the United States Department of State, Tammy Bruce.
"I can inform you that the campaign of maximum pressure on Iran will remain in full force," she said during a press conference.
Bruce noted that Trump's statement on a complete ban on uranium enrichment by Tehran is final and not subject to revision.
"It's not just the president's word, it's President Donald Trump's word. He published his final word on this issue. The deal does not provide for uranium enrichment," Bruce stressed.
At the same time, she said that at the moment the White House does not have information about the date of the proposed new negotiations on the nuclear program with Iran. However, as the representative of the State Department clarified, as part of the discussions, the parties will try to discuss some details of a possible future agreement.
On June 3, Trump announced that Washington would not allow Tehran to enrich uranium as part of a potential agreement between the United States and Iran. He added that this situation should have stopped long ago during the presidency of his predecessor Joe Biden.
