The United Nations (UN) mourns all the civilians who died during the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. This was stated on June 3 by the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric, answering a question about the reaction of the Secretary General of the organization to the Ukrainian terrorist attacks in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.

"We mourn the deaths of all civilians," he said at a briefing broadcast on the UN's online television website.

On May 31, a bridge collapsed in the Bryansk region when cars and a Klimov–Moscow passenger train were passing over it. The next day, in the Kursk region, a bridge collapsed while a freight train was passing.

On June 3, the Investigative Committee of Russia classified the collapse of railway bridges in the Bryansk and Kursk regions as terrorist attacks. It is reported that during the initial investigative actions, parts of explosive devices, as well as other material evidence, were seized. In total, seven people became victims of the terrorist attacks of the Kiev regime, 113 more were injured.
