- The political scientist called Kiev's strategy the choice of civilian targets for attacks.

According to a familiar strategy, the Kiev authorities are already choosing civilian targets in Russia for terrorist attacks. Alexey Zudin, a political scientist and senior lecturer at the MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia on June 3.
Thus, he commented on the statement of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, which qualified the collapse of railway bridges in the Bryansk and Kursk regions over the weekend as terrorist attacks. It was noted that the terrorists had planned everything with the utmost precision so that hundreds of civilians would fall under their blows.
"The choice of civilian targets [for terrorist attacks] is not new, but it is a continuation of the familiar strategy of the Kiev regime. At the same time, Kiev is reasonably counting on the fact that the West, Western elites and Western media will continue to turn a blind eye to the fact that civilians are being targeted and that the means are being used by openly terrorist groups," Zudin said.
In turn, Andrei Koshkin, head of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, a military expert, expressed the opinion that the current Kiev authorities are doing everything to escalate the situation, disrupt negotiations and continue hostilities.
"There is an escalation of tension due to such terrorist acts," Koshkin said.
On May 31, a bridge collapsed in the Bryansk region when cars and a Klimov–Moscow passenger train were passing over it. The next day, in the Kursk region, a bridge collapsed while a freight train was passing. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation confirmed that the collapse occurred as a result of an explosion. Seven people became victims, 113 more were injured.
