The bestsellers of the Russian car market are named

The Lada Granta model led the Russian car market in May 2025. In the last month of spring, 12 thousand Granta machines were sold, including those produced on its basis. This is 35.1% less than a year ago, according to a report by the analytical agency Autostat, which was received by Izvestia on June 3.

The second place is occupied by Lada Vesta with a score of 6559 copies and the worst negative dynamics (-51.9%) among the cars presented.

The Chinese Haval Jolion crossover remains the best foreign car in the country, with a result of 4,586 cars (-27.8%). Behind him is the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max crossover (2,757 units; -45.8%). The Lada Niva Legend SUV rounded out the top five (2,600 units; -29.3%).

The top ten models were completed by Changan Uni-S, Belgee X50, Geely Monjaro, Chery Tiggo 4 and Lada Niva Travel. It is noted that almost all models recorded a decrease in sales compared to May last year, and the Geely Monjaro crossover feels the best among them (-18.5%).

Also on this day, it was reported that by the end of May 2025, 91.2 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia, which is 28.3% less than in the same month last year. Lada accounted for 28% of the market at the end of spring, which in quantitative terms amounts to 25.6 thousand copies sold.
