The Investigative Committee of Russia has classified the collapse of railway bridges in the Bryansk and Kursk regions over the weekend as terrorist attacks. Seven people became their victims, 113 more were injured. This was announced on June 3 by the official representative of the department Svetlana Petrenko.
"It is obvious that the terrorists, acting on the instructions of the Kiev regime, planned everything with maximum precision so that hundreds of civilians would fall under their blows," said Svetlana Petrenko, an official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
It is reported that during the initial investigative actions, parts of explosive devices, as well as other material evidence, were seized.
"As a result of the terrorist attacks, seven people were killed, and 113 victims, including children, are receiving medical care," Petrenko added.
It is emphasized that the organizers and perpetrators of the crime will be identified and brought to criminal responsibility.
The collapse of a bridge in the Bryansk region with cars on it on the Klimov – Moscow passenger train happened on the evening of May 31. The next day, at 03:00, the railway bridge also collapsed while passing a freight train in the Zheleznogorsk district of the Kursk region. Criminal cases have been opened into the incidents.
