Russian President Vladimir Putin received information about Sunday's attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Russian regions online. This was announced on June 3 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"The president received information about the incident online," he said.

Speaking about the attacks by the Ukrainian side, Peskov recalled that the Russian Defense Ministry was investigating the details of the incident.

"I suggest waiting for the results of the investigation and focusing on the content of the statement of the Ministry of Defense," the Kremlin spokesman stressed.
