Military investigators have opened a criminal case in connection with the injury of a resident of the Kursk region as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This was announced on June 3 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF).
It is specified that on May 23, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, using an FPV drone, attacked a car in the village of Artyushkovo, Rylsky district, as a result of which a woman was injured. According to her, she was heading home from Rylsk to the village of Kekino in the Glushkovsky district.
"The actions of the Ukrainian military are qualified under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for responsibility for a terrorist act," the press service of the department reports.
At the moment, law enforcement officers are identifying those involved in the crime.
On June 2, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case after an attack by Ukrainian militants on civilian facilities in Kursk. At the scene, investigators found fragments from drones, which were sent for an explosive forensic examination.
