Air defense systems destroyed eight UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia overnight

Air defense systems destroyed eight Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the regions of Russia overnight. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 3.

"In the period from 20:00 Moscow time on June 2 to 07:00 Moscow time on June 3 of this year, eight Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

As noted in the Ministry of Defense, three UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, two more were eliminated over the Kursk and Belgorod regions. Also, one drone was destroyed over the waters of the Sea of Azov.

By its actions, the "war party" wants to disrupt peace initiatives, experts say.

On June 2, the Ministry of Defense announced that 162 Ukrainian UAVs had been destroyed over the territory of the Russian Federation overnight. Drones were eliminated in the skies over the Republic of Crimea, as well as over the Kursk, Belgorod, Lipetsk, Voronezh, Tambov, Bryansk and Oryol regions.
