Two people died as a result of a fire in an apartment building in Novosibirsk.

In the city of Novosibirsk, two men died as a result of a fire in a two-room apartment. This was announced on June 3 by the Main Investigative Directorate (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region in its Telegram channel.

The fire occurred on the evening of June 2. As a result of extinguishing the fire, the Investigative Committee officers found the bodies of the apartment owner and his guest.

Experts are currently checking the scene and establishing the circumstances of the incident. Forensic examinations have been appointed and are being conducted to determine the cause of the ignition and death of residents.

On June 2, the GSU of the Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia reported the death of two men in a fire due to a short circuit in the electrical wiring on the veranda of the house. It was clarified that the fire occurred in a private house located on Lugovaya Street in the village of Ius Ordzhonikidze district.
