The expert called the consequences of washing the car with household appliances

Washing the car with household detergents, for example, for dishes, harms the paintwork (paintwork) of the body. This was stated by Alexander Smith, the owner of the CarBase premium children's centers network.
"Household products contain aggressive surfactants and alkalis that destroy the protective layer of paintwork, making it dull and vulnerable to oxidation. It is necessary to use only specialized auto shampoos with a neutral pH, which gently clean the body without damaging the protective layer," Rossiyskaya Gazeta quoted Smith as saying on June 2.
Destroys paintwork and the use of abrasives to remove impurities. So, coarse pastes and hard sponges leave micro-scratches, which eventually remove the gloss and lead to clouding of the paint, the auto expert pointed out. He also warned that absolutely any scrapers and brushes for cleaning cars from snow in winter leave a grid of minor damage on the body, especially noticeable on dark cars.
In addition, the specialist warned that the paintwork is damaged due to the application of polishes without prior surface preparation, improper sanding, the use of acidic or aggressive chemical compounds for cleaning paintwork and body coating with protective compounds in direct sunlight.
Earlier, on May 30, car expert Yulia Trushkova said that in the summer heat it is best to park the car on smooth asphalt or a concrete slab. If you leave the car on grass, earth, and loose soil, it can harm it.
