The political scientist explained Trump's appeal to conspiracy theories about Biden

With conspiracy theories about former US President Joe Biden, the current American leader Donald Trump draws attention to the legacy of his predecessor. Malek Dudakov, an American political scientist, stated this in an interview with Izvestia on June 2.
On this day, the US president posted a repost on the Truth Social network with the theory that Biden had been replaced by clones and robots since 2020. It is noted that Trump posted a link to the post to his nearly 10 million followers, without adding any context or explanation.
He recalled that Trump often turns to conspiracy theories and posts them on social media.
"In my opinion, this story is absolutely crazy, but it allows us to reignite the discussion about how the United States was governed during the Biden era. <...> All decisions were made for him by his team, which is now called the "politburo", from the closest advisers and associates of Biden and his wife Jill," Dudakov said.
The political scientist also recalled that not so long ago, Trump announced that Biden's entourage was using an autograph to affix signatures allegedly on behalf of the ex-president.
"Trump is drawing attention to this topic again, especially since it is politically very toxic for Democrats. They themselves cannot decide how to justify their actions over the previous four years, when they constantly had to <...> declare that Biden does not have any health problems," the expert emphasized.
In addition, Dudakov called the ridicule of the previous White House administration quite logical for the Trump team.
"We can shift responsibility for the problems that exist now, for example, in the economy, onto the sad legacy that we inherited from Biden," he concluded.
On May 20, Trump accused the former leader's entourage of treason, saying that people who knew Biden was suffering from cognitive disorders had gained control of his blog.
On June 1, Congress announced the identification of the White House staff who signed the documents with Biden's signature.
Prior to that, on May 31, Senator Josh Hawley, citing information from an informant from the Secret Service, reported that the former US leader, during his presidency, got lost in his own wardrobe in the White House in the mornings.
