New Kia and Hyundai cars under the Solaris brand have fallen in price in Russia

New Kia and Hyundai cars, which are produced in St. Petersburg under the Russian brand Solaris, have become cheaper by 90-281 thousand rubles since June 1. I noticed this Motor.ru .
The strongest price reduction was noted for the Solaris HC crossover (formerly Hyundai Creta) — by 25% at once. So, the basic version with a manual transmission and a 1.6 engine now costs 1.98 million rubles, while the modification with an automatic transmission will cost at least 2.67 million rubles. The average version with mechanics has become more affordable by 114 thousand rubles, while prices for other modifications with a 1.6 engine have not changed, and other versions with two-liter units have risen in price by 20 thousand rubles.
Solaris KRX (formerly Kia Rio X) lost 221-281 thousand rubles in price (initial versions cost between 1.96 million and 1.98 million rubles). Solaris KRS (the former Kia Rio sedan) has become cheaper by 120-180 thousand rubles in the initial versions with "mechanics", and the prices for the basic versions are the same as for the KRX. Finally, the Solaris HS (formerly Hyundai Solaris) in its three initial versions with "mechanics" now costs 1.93 million, 1.95 million and 1.97 million rubles (-90 thousand rubles).
It is noted that the basic versions of all four models are almost equal in price and cost in the range of 2 million rubles. It is assumed that the price lists have been adjusted to meet the conditions of the preferential state program for the purchase of a car.
On May 22, it was reported that by the end of April 2025, 2,298 new Solaris vehicles were sold in Russia, this result was a record for the brand since its launch in May last year.
