In the first half of the week, the capital region expects comfortable summer weather without significant precipitation. Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading expert of Meteonosti, told Izvestia about this on June 2.

"In the first half of the week, moderately warm weather will prevail in Moscow, because this cold air that has penetrated to us in the rear of the cyclone will gradually warm up. We are not expecting precipitation today, and tomorrow we will also have almost no significant precipitation," the specialist said.

According to the expert, the air temperature on Monday and Tuesday will be 1.5–2 degrees above the climatic norm. Nighttime readings will be +13...+15 degrees in the capital and +10...+15 degrees in the region, daytime — +21...+23 and +20...+25 degrees, respectively.

Wednesday will bring a slight warming to +22...+24 degrees in Moscow and up to +26 degrees in the region, and short-term rains are also possible. On Thursday, the anticyclone will provide dry weather with night temperatures of +10...+12 degrees and daytime temperatures of about +25 degrees.

By the weekend, as Pozdnyakova explained, the region will be in the warm sector of the Atlantic cyclone. +12...+17 degrees are expected on Friday and Saturday nights, and the thermometer will rise to +25 in the afternoon...+29 degrees. Short-term rains are possible, and even thunderstorms are possible on Sunday.

On May 20, cardiologist Andrey Kondrakhin told Izvestia about ways to reduce the negative effects of abnormal heat on the body. To prevent overheating, the doctor recommends first of all to limit physical activity and avoid direct sunlight.
