As a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Lipetsk region, one person was injured. This was announced on June 2 by the governor of the region Igor Artamonov.

"One person was injured in Lebedyansky district. The injury is light, there is no threat to life," he said.

It is specified that the glazing of two residential buildings in Lebedyan was also damaged. As a result, one family was forced to temporarily move in with relatives, while the other was placed in a hotel.

"We will provide assistance in recovery. Relevant instructions have been given to the head of the district," Artamonov said.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 162 Ukrainian UAVs over the regions of the Russian Federation overnight. Prior to that, on June 1, air defense systems eliminated 33 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over the Kursk, Belgorod and Lipetsk regions from 08:20 to 19:00 Moscow time. 27 drones were destroyed over the Kursk region, four drones over the Belgorod region and two UAVs over the Lipetsk region.
