In Kursk, the family of local resident Tatiana could not immediately get out of her house after the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as the door was deformed by an explosive wave. The woman told about it on Monday, June 2, in an interview with Izvestia.
"We couldn't get out because our doors were blocked. It bent on one side and on the other," Tatiana shared.
According to a local resident, all the windows were blown out, and the footage shows that cars parked in the courtyard of the house were also damaged.
"We heard a buzzing sound. The son said, "Mom, do you hear something flying?" I say what I hear. And that's it, fragments flew. <...> I came out of the bathroom, all the windows were broken, my mother—in-law cut her hand," said the interlocutor.
Earlier in the day, Alexander Khinshtein, Acting Governor of the Kursk Region, reported that air defense systems had shot down several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Kursk APU, as a result of the attack, the civilian infrastructure was damaged. According to him, after the drone debris fell, private houses and a garage caught fire.
