The blockage formed as a result of the collapse of the bridge on the railway tracks in the Bryansk region has been cleared. This was announced on June 1 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, in the Telegram channel.

"Thanks to the professionalism and coordinated actions of road organizations, divisions of the Moscow Railway, and rescuers, the work on clearing railway tracks in the Vygonichi district was completed as soon as possible — in less than a day," he said.

The governor clarified that work to eliminate the consequences is still ongoing.

The collapse of a bridge in the Bryansk region with cars on it on the Klimov – Moscow passenger train happened on the evening of May 31. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation confirmed that the collapse occurred as a result of an explosion. Later, Bogomaz reported that the number of injured as a result of the train accident in the Bryansk region was 71 people, seven people died.
