Two children who were injured in the collapse of a bridge in the Bryansk region have been fully examined at the Leonid Roshal Clinic in Moscow. Semyon Meshcheryakov, the chief physician of the hospital, told about this on June 1.

"Currently, they have been fully examined, ultrasound, computed tomography, and laboratory tests have been performed. A small child does not need surgical treatment <...>, an adult child is preparing for a traumatic intervention," Meshcheryakov said.

According to the doctor, the baby was diagnosed with fractures of the pelvis, cranial vault, hip and bruised lungs. At the moment, the child is in the intensive care unit, his condition is assessed as serious.

The second patient, a seven-year-old boy, was found to have a mild traumatic brain injury, a concussion and a fractured humerus. It is reported that he is preparing for a traumatic operation.

Earlier, children injured in the collapse of a bridge in the Bryansk region were taken by helicopter to the Roshal clinic in Moscow. It was clarified that the doctors immediately began to provide medical care.
