A crane began lifting a cargo truck after it fell from a bridge in the Bryansk region.

A freight truck, which, along with a collapsed bridge, fell on a train in the Bryansk region, is lifted using a crane. This was reported by Izvestia on June 1.

Izvestia correspondent Pavel Melnikov said that several Russian Railways repair crews are currently working in the area of the collapse.

Specialists are using a crane to remove the truck and dismantle the bridge fragments. At the same time, traffic on the highway and railway tracks near the crash site remains paralyzed.

As a result of the incident, seven people died and dozens were injured.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that work is underway at the scene of the emergency to dismantle fragments of the bridge and free the railway track from derailed wagons. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, about 180 specialists and 60 pieces of equipment are involved in the elimination of the consequences of the accident.

According to the latest data, the death toll is seven people. The train driver and his assistant were killed. As a result of the bridge collapse, 47 people were hospitalized, including three children.
