The US National Intelligence Service is exploring ideas for updating the daily presidential intelligence-sharing briefing (PDB) for President Donald Trump. This was reported on May 31 by NBC News, citing sources.

One of the ideas is to create a PDB video version similar to the Fox News broadcast.

"Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has asked current and former intelligence officials for their ideas on steps she could take to adapt the briefing <...> One of the ideas being discussed is the possible creation of a video version of the PDB that would look and feel like a Fox News broadcast," he said. TV channel.

Today, the PDB is a digital document that includes written text, graphics, and images. It is planned that the new PDB will include maps with animated images. This is due to the fact that Trump is "on the air all the time," sources tell NBC.

Earlier, on May 21, it was reported that the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Kesh Patel, and the head of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, were making massive cuts in their departments. The purpose of such measures was the need to get rid of representatives of the "deep state" and prevent leaks of classified information.
