Yulia Zasko, head of NMG DOK, and Yulia Shamal, General Director of the Telecentre news agency, held a meeting at the Startup Village conference, where they discussed the popular science project "The Body as a Gadget", dedicated to the boundaries of interaction between the body and technology.

According to Zasko, the project makes us think about the future of humanity, the development of technology and new facets of reality. The meeting participants also discussed the discoveries made during the making of films and stressed the importance of popularizing scientific topics in society.

At the conference, Zasko and Shamal presented the documentary series "The Body as a Gadget", which was released this spring on the Wink platform. In the films included in the project — "Mind", "Blood", "Skin", "Vision" — the authors explore the possibilities of the body through the prism of science and technology.

The meeting participants paid special attention to the importance of scientific education: according to the speakers, the popularization of scientific topics helps to form critical thinking and an informed attitude towards the future.

In addition, innovative medical developments from the capital's clinics and scientific organizations were presented for the first time at the Startup Village conference this year. The event has been a unique platform for the formation of a new generation of entrepreneurs for 13 years.

On May 13, the National Media Group (NMG) won eight nominations in the prestigious industrial XII Award of the Association of Film and Television Producers (APKiT) and received a special prize for its contribution to the development of socially significant content.
