Former US President Joe Biden said he could "beat up all" the authors of a new book about his presidential term, claiming a decrease in cognitive abilities. This was reported on Friday, May 30, by the Fox News channel.

"You can see that I'm mentally incompetent, I can't walk, and I can beat them both up," Biden told reporters after speaking at a Memorial Day event in Delaware.

Biden was talking about two journalists, Jake Tapper from CNN and Alex Thompson from Axios. They wrote the book "Original Sin: The Fading of President Biden, His Cover-up, and the Disastrous Decision to Run Again." In it, the authors claimed that Biden could hardly make coherent sentences, which his team was trying to hide.

Earlier, on May 19, the media reported that Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. It is specified that the tumor of the former head of state was identified with bone metastases and was assessed on a nine-point Gleason scale as the fifth group. Later that day, Biden confirmed the reports of his diagnosis and thanked everyone for their support.
