Lipetsk introduced a regional emergency mode due to a fire in the reserve.

A regional emergency regime has been introduced in the Voronezh Biosphere Reserve in the Lipetsk Region. This was announced on May 30 by the governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov in his Telegram channel.
"We decided to introduce a regional emergency regime so that employers could let employees go home without consequences, if necessary," the report said.
The governor noted that the threat to nearby settlements has not been detected and evacuation of residents is not planned.
"We carry out regular air measurements. There is nothing critical in terms of hygiene standards. But the situation may change," the governor noted.
Earlier in the day, the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Lipetsk region reported that the fire area in the reserve reached 300 hectares. The department also urged to follow the instructions of the emergency services against the background of the incident.
