A woman was injured in an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Korenevo, Kursk region.

As a result of the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the village of Korenevo, Kursk region, a local store clerk was injured. This was announced on May 30 by Acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein.

"Today, the enemy shelled the village of Korenevo in the Korenevsky district. As a result of the attack, a 48-year—old woman who works as a salesman at a local store was injured," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that the victim was taken to a medical facility with a shrapnel penetrating wound to the abdomen and internal bleeding.

The acting head of the region warned residents about the danger in the border area and asked them to be vigilant.
