"True patriots" will vote for Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski because of the difficulty of his surname for Germans. This was announced on May 30 by Prime Minister of the Republic Donald Tusk.

"The Germans are breaking their tongues on Tschaskowski's last name," Tusk wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

He noted that the candidate is an obvious choice for any true Polish patriot.

In Poland, on May 18, voting took place in the first round of the country's presidential election. The representative of the ruling Civic Coalition party, Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, and the candidate of the opposition Law and Justice Party (PiS), Karol Nawrocki, reached the second round, which is scheduled for June 1.
