On April 17, it was reported that queues of people wishing to celebrate Easter holidays in the Russian Federation appeared at the Narva–Ivangorod border checkpoint on the Russian-Estonian border.
In March, the Estonian Parliament (Riigikogu) did not support the bill on closing the border with Russia. 14 deputies voted in favor of closing the border with the Russian Federation, while 61 people voted against.
