The prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine declared the prohibition of commanders to return after being sent to the front line

A captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Maxim Surma said that the Ukrainian command, sending the soldiers to the front line, forbade them to return from there to their locations. The footage was provided by the Russian Defense Ministry on May 30.

As Surma noted, the commanders, if the soldiers returned to the unit, threatened to open fire on them to kill.

He also said that in 2014 he was a participant in the events on the Maidan. The man explained that at that time he had problems with the law in Kharkov in the case of thefts and fights. Then a friend suggested that he go to Kiev, at the same time to "earn" a little. Surya was promised that he would receive $100 for the pogroms in the Ukrainian capital. He will have to throw Molotov cocktails and beat people up.

The participants in the clashes were also instructed that they should not consume any drinks or food, as drugs could be added there. Otherwise, there is a danger of addiction. At the same time, the meaning of the riots was explained to them as follows: "Now they will attack, and we will defend ourselves."

Surma noted that after participating in the events during which the coup took place, he was afraid of what was happening and returned back to Kharkov, where he was still sent to prison. After the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, the man was forced to sign a contract and join the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"I refused, but they made it clear to me that they would take it anyway. Then the law came out that everyone would go to war," the man clarified.

By its actions, the "war party" wants to disrupt peace initiatives, experts say.

A day earlier, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Belyakov, who was captured by the military of the Center group of forces, spoke about the attitude of the command towards the personnel, as well as about the deceptive corruption schemes that the commander came up with. According to the prisoner, there were mostly criminals, drug addicts and alcoholics in his department, whom the command sent "one way" as suicide bombers.
