Two suspects of buying alcohol to teenagers in Baikalsk have been detained. This was reported on May 29 in the press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Irkutsk region.
"Two suspects of committing a crime under Article 151 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Involving minors in anti—social acts") have been detained," the department's Telegram channel says.
They noted that the men had been questioned by investigators.
The death of five teenagers and the wounding of four as a result of a knife attack became known the day before. According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, after the incident, the alleged suspect set fire to the house and died as a result of the fire. An operational headquarters was set up in Baikalsk following the incident. The investigation of the criminal case was taken over by the chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin.
