The expert predicted a decrease in fruit prices

A decrease in prices for berries and fruits is expected at the end of June. Igor Mukhanin, President of the Russian Horticultural Association, announced this during a press conference at Izvestia on the topic "The impact of frosts on crops: consequences and price forecast" on May 29.
"In the second decade of June, the first berry will be from Voronezh, and the main berry will be at the end of June. A peak is expected by mid-July. Therefore, wait, and prices will decrease when there is a massive berry harvest in the central area," he said.
According to him, by the end of April, all farms are striving to fully realize the harvest, so as not to distract workers from sorting and packing. There is also a lot of work in the gardens and fields at this time, as it is necessary to grow new crops. It is during this period that there is a slight shortage.
In addition, in Russia, even if we consider the situation throughout the year, there is sometimes a shortage that retail chains can use to their advantage. However, the shortage is observed from mid-May to July and is artificial, as fruit producers and sellers are often the same market participants.
Earlier, on May 25, a lecturer at the Department of Teaching Methods of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the State University of Education, biologist Marina Tatarenko, in an interview with Izvestia, gave advice on the use of natural fertilizers for flowers at home. According to her, the remnants of tea and coffee as fertilizers do not benefit home flowers, and an overabundance of ash can do more harm.
