The number of preschool-age children hospitalized in Yakutia with symptoms of poisoning has increased to seven people. This was reported on May 29 in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

"Seven children have been admitted to the Khangalasi hospital with signs of intestinal infection," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the victims are in a moderate condition. Currently, doctors are providing the necessary assistance to the children, and the rest of the group's students have been placed under medical supervision.

The ministry stressed that they are monitoring the situation.

On the morning of May 29, the regional Ministry of Education and Science announced the hospitalization with poisoning symptoms of five pupils of the preschool group of MBOU "Kachikatskaya Secondary School named after S.P. Barashkov." It was clarified that the victims were examined by a pediatrician and were hospitalized in the infectious diseases department.
