Medinsky offered Umerov a meeting to exchange memoranda.

Russian Presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky offered to meet with Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to exchange memoranda. He announced this on May 28 in his Telegram channel.
"[to Rustam] I called Umerov myself today and suggested the exact date and place of the meeting for the exchange of memoranda — a list of conditions for the cessation of hostilities," the publication says.
According to Medinsky, Russia is ready for a "meaningful" discussion of an agreement to end the Ukrainian conflict. He also noted that the Russian government is waiting for confirmation to hold talks on the designated date "in the interests of long-term peace."
Earlier in the day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that a new round of talks between Russia and Ukraine would be announced in the near future. The head of the department noted that Russia continues to put forward settlement proposals to Kiev, however, according to him, the problems are becoming more serious.
