Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is ready to hold a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and White House Chief of Staff Donald Trump. The Ukrainian leader said this on May 28.

Zelensky clarified that he was not against the "Trump—Putin—me" format, which would involve simultaneous meetings with the leaders of the countries, the Agence France-Presse (AFP) agency quoted him as saying.

The leader of the Kiev regime noted that he was ready "for any format" of the meeting. At the same time, his condition is the choice of a venue for upcoming negotiations. In addition, Zelensky confirmed that the next venue besides Istanbul could be the Vatican or Switzerland.

Earlier in the day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that negotiations between Russia and Ukraine should take place based on the agreement of the delegations, as well as after the draft memoranda from the two sides.
