Sales of a new Sadko 9 four-wheel drive medium-tonnage truck with a gross weight of 9 tons have started in Russia. The vehicle is designed for heavy off-road conditions combined with the ability to install heavy add-ons. This is stated in the message of the company "Modern Transport Technologies" ("CTT"), which was received by Izvestia on May 27.

The Sadko 9 is characterized by high geometric maneuverability, high ground clearance (315 mm) and an air suspension rear axle for improved smoothness and automatic maintenance of floor level regardless of loading. The car is adapted for various industries, from utilities to the oil and gas sector. It does not fall under the Platon system and is compatible with all existing add-ons from the Sadko Next and Gazon Next chassis.

The truck is available in two wheelbase versions (3770 and 4515 mm), for the second version there are versions with a single-row cab for three seats or with a double-row cab for seven seats. The novelty is equipped with a 169 hp YaMZ-534 diesel engine, five-speed mechanics and a two-stage transfer case with a step-down row. All-wheel drive is implemented according to the part-time scheme (with forced connection of the front axle), the transfer case is electronically controlled.

The basic version includes a sprung heated driver's seat, a preheater, electric heated mirrors, electric power windows, heat-absorbing windows, cruise control, and a motor brake. An air conditioner and a multimedia device with control buttons on the steering wheel are available as an option.

The Sadko 9 is equipped with original wheels with wide tires, a reinforced rear axle (the beam thickness has been increased from 8.5 to 10 mm) and a new suspension (front on long double leaf springs, rear — pneumatic, with a stabilizer bar). The reinforcement of the rear axle, new wheels and rear air suspension increased the load capacity of the chassis by 2 tons compared to the Sadko Next: up to 5,165 kg for the short-wheelbase version and 4,910 kg for the long-wheelbase version.

On May 12, STT introduced the Gazelle NN all-wheel drive ambulance vehicle. It is designed to work in regions with difficult transport accessibility and harsh climatic conditions.
