Hungary speaks negatively about Brussels' policy on Ukraine

The Brussels authorities are constantly giving "harmful and dangerous" responses to the Ukrainian crisis. This was announced on May 26 by the State Secretary of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Tristan Azbey.

"Brussels is constantly giving incorrect, harmful and dangerous responses to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. We believe that the key to helping people suffering in Ukraine is an early ceasefire and peace talks," Azbey said.

In addition, he noted that now the Brussels authorities are only encouraging the prolongation of the conflict.

According to him, Hungary believes that Brussels' plan to help Ukraine join the European Union (EU) is very dangerous. Azbey added that Ukraine's accession to the EU "will not help anyone."
