The Russian Armed Forces attacked targets at the Starokonstantinov airfield in the Khmelnitsky region at night. This was announced on May 26 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"A massive strike was carried out with high—precision long-range air-launched weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles on targets at the Starokonstantinov airfield," the ministry said.

It is reported that as a result of the strike, objects were hit and the set goals were achieved.

After capturing the village, Russian units repulsed four enemy counterattacks.

In addition, the ministry reported that over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces have attacked ammunition depots and drone storage sites of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Russian army also targeted locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries in 152 districts. It is specified that the losses of the Ukrainian army amounted to up to 275 militants.
