The Russian Armed Forces liberated Romanovka in the DPR
Units of the Southern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Russia have liberated the village of Romanovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on May 25 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that Russian fighters defeated the manpower and equipment of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the areas of six settlements of the DPR.
"The enemy lost up to 260 military personnel, two infantry fighting vehicles, two armored combat vehicles, six vehicles and a field artillery piece," the ministry said in a statement.
According to the Ministry of Defense, five electronic warfare stations, three counter-battery radar stations and four ammunition and materiel depots were also destroyed.
The day before, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces had liberated the settlements of Loknya in the Sumy region, Stupochki and Otradnoye in the DPR. On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the combat work of units of the Vostok group of forces during the liberation of Otradnoye.
