Russia has returned another 303 servicemen from Ukrainian captivity.
As part of the Russian-Ukrainian agreements, 303 Russian military personnel were returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime. This was announced on May 25 by the Russian Defense Ministry .
"Another 303 Russian servicemen have been returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime," the statement said.
In addition, the ministry also added that in return, Russia handed over 303 captured fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). It is specified that the Russian military is currently on the territory of Belarus, where they are receiving all the necessary psychological and medical assistance.
The Ministry of Defense confirmed that in this way the exchange according to the formula "1000 for 1000" was fully carried out.
The Russian Federation and Ukraine agreed on a large-scale exchange of prisoners of war according to the "1000 for 1000" formula at talks in Istanbul on May 16.
On May 23, it became known that 270 Russian servicemen and 120 civilians had been returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime. The next day, another 307 Russian soldiers were returned.
