Polish presidential candidate, leader of the opposition Law and Justice party Karol Nawrocki suggested that his opponent, the representative of the ruling Civic Coalition party and Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, take a joint drug test after Nawrocki put an unknown bag in his mouth during a televised debate. This was announced on May 24 by the Onet portal.

"Tomorrow I would like to invite Rafal Trzaskowski and his closest associates to test for the presence of substances in our bodies. We can check if there are drugs in our body," he said.

According to the head of the opposition party, society has the right to know about the health status of presidential candidates.

At the same time, Navrotsky stated that he had brought a bag of nicotine, which is not a narcotic substance, to the TV debates. In addition, he clarified that he opposes the legalization of drugs.

Polling stations opened in Poland on May 18 to vote in the first round of the country's presidential election. The results of the IPSOS exit poll showed that Trzaskowski and Nawrocki reached the second round in the presidential elections in Poland. Now they will have to take part in the second round, which is scheduled for June 1.
