The weather forecaster reported the continuation of abnormally hot weather until the end of May in Moscow.

Abnormally hot weather is expected in the capital region until the end of May. The deviation from the norm is from five to six degrees. This was announced on May 24 by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.

"According to our forecasts, such abnormally hot weather, with a positive temperature anomaly of 5-6 [degrees], will linger in the capital region until the end of May," his Telegram channel says.

Leus also noted that May 24 was the warmest day since the beginning of spring in Moscow. According to the data from the base weather station of the VDNKh megacity, the air temperature was +26.9 degrees.

Earlier, on May 23, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, said that over the weekend the air temperature would reach +28 degrees.
